The Student Council is excited to announce our Annual Food Drive, marking our very first event of the school year! This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for our school to come together and support families in need from the Jepson Community.
How It Works
Each grade has been assigned a specific food item to bring in. Here’s the breakdown:
PreK 3: Boxed potatoes
PreK 4: Canned Gravy
Kindergarten: Boxed macaroni and cheese
1st Grade: Canned corn or canned carrots
2nd Grade: Canned green beans or canned peas
3rd Grade: Boxed stuffing
4th grade: Cornbread mix or canned fruit
5th grade: Box/pouches of rice
6th Grade: Brownie mix or cookie mix
7th Grade: Canned cranberries / salad dressing
8th Grade: canned soup / canned broth
These food items will be collected and assembled into boxes to support families in need. Additionally, any extra items will be stored in our community closet, ensuring that we can provide assistance throughout the year—not just during the Thanksgiving season.
Why It Matters
Hunger is a year-round issue for many families, and our food drive aims to make a lasting impact. By donating, you’re not just helping to fill a box; you’re helping to fill plates and provide comfort to those who need it most.
Get Involved!
We encourage all students and faculty to participate! Bring your assigned food items to school from November 3rd until November 15th. Let’s show our community the power of kindness and generosity. Together, we can make a significant difference!
Thank you for your support, and let’s make this food drive a success!
